A research institute in the Northern fields of France, this project's goal was to create a structure that allows for research, discussion, study, and rest spaces. Originally guided by concepts related to geological systems, stratum specifically, the essence of the project focused on the adaptation of a structure for the ages.
An educational institute for scholars of various professions to inhabit for extended periods. The program offers research, study, communal, gathering, and rest spaces. The structure is secluded in the open pastoral fields of northern France.

The questions focused on the adaptation of a structure for the ages. The questions became about how to design a structure for several generations of knowledge, ideas, and theories that would continue to change as new developments are discovered. How to embody moments of time, yet, have their existence be understood in the future.
