Establishing itself in the center of downtown Savannah, GA, this ~80,000 sq ft project was founded to serve the community in an effort to promote, celebrate, and cherish educational and creative endeavors. The center offers a 480-seat auditorium, library, bookstore and cafe, computer and genius lab, and also hosts the newly founded C.A.M.P Youth Outreach program. C.A.M.P. (Create, Aspire, Motivate, Prepare) looks to bring critical educational supplies and knowledge to youth who may not be able to receive it in their own communities and neighborhoods as a means of preparing them for a bright future. The center is also paired with a newly renovated park square that keeps over 90% of the original tree landscape while opening the space to allow for events and leisure for the masses.
